“Those modern examples of ancient winemaking” according to Andrea Gori on “Intravino” with regard to amphora wines
“Modern examples of ancient winemaking models” Andrea Gori the “computer sommelier” defines the wines in amphora tasted during “Terracotta and Wine 2016” the event held last November in Impruneta .
Gori points out that producers, who “at least partly include an alternative container in their wine cellars are growing steadily.” In Italy – writes Gori on the wine blog Intravino – not many producers marry the terracotta philosophy, but at this point it seems that terracotta is a great tool in the hands of wine producers and winemakers, to refine a portion of wine to use as an enhancement for other wines ”
He speaks after tasting 11 wines all fermented and matured in Artenova’s terracotta wine jars.
