The large Cognac jar (400 lt)

Artenova continues its innovation in 2022 with new lines and formats for its amphorae. The new proposals include amphorae for wine as well as for liqueurs and spirits: large “Cognac” jar (400 litres), for processing grapes and aging wine (photo above),

small “Cognac” jar (30 lt) made specially for liqueurs and spirits (photo on the left);

finally, the 400 litre and 180 litre “Spanish Tinaja” (photo below).

“We showed them, as a preview, to some of our customers – says Leonardo Parisi, owner of Artenova – and they liked them. An important encouragement to continue”.

Different shapes and sizes, a format for each different use. The craftsmanship and research of the Impruneta company finds its maximum expression in the beauty of the “Spanish tinaja”. We all know the Tinajas produced in Villarrobledo in Spain by the last “Tinajero”, Juan Padilla, now retired. In Italy, from 2022, these graceful terracotta vessels will be produced by hand by the artisans of Artenova with the prestigious clay from Impruneta.
