storia2 “Terracotta and Wine”: producers of wine made in terracotta amphorae from all over the world, this coming November 22nd and 23rd, in Impruneta for the 1st International Convention promoted by Artenova. This will be the first international convention on the use of terracotta in oenology that  Artenova promotes in collaboration with the municipality of Impruneta, on the 22nd and 23rd  of November this year (from 10am -7pm), in Impruneta (Florence, Italy), a two-day event entitled “Terracotta and Wine” held at the old terracotta-works Fornace Agresti whose set-up will be designed by the studio Avatar-Architettura of Florence. With a high-level technical and cultural confrontation, producers of wine in amphorae from all over the world (Georgia, Armenia, but also the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, France and Montenegro), will exchange experiences and knowledge during a conference which will be held on Saturday, November 22nd  (at 11am). At the conference there will also be international names from the academic world such as Prof. Christophe Caillaud (Vienne, France), Prof. Giorgi Barisashvili (Tbilisi, Georgia), in addition to Prof. Antonio Tirelli (University of Milan). During the two days of Saturday and Sunday there will be guided wine-tasting sessions open to the public, wine tasting stalls, visits to the Artenova workshop and also a concert. The tasting area will be accessed by the purchase of a wineglass as entrance ticket (12 Euro). The Winemakers guiding the tasting are Adriano Zago, agronomist and expert in biodynamic agriculture and Francesco Bartoletti of the Gruppo Matura and technical advisor for Artenova.
